We are proud to announce Luma won the SAFTA award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects! A huge congratulations and thank you to Bomb Productions, and all the incredible artists who made this show the success it has become.
The series, debuted to record audience numbers in 2023, and has been called the most expensive production in South African television history. It also won in categories such as Best Achievement in Editing, Best Achievement in Cinematography, Best Achievement in Directing and Best Actor, which went to the Thembinkosi Mthembu, who stars as King Dingiswayo on the show.
